The studio began as a creative outlet during the uncertainty of the pandemic and has evolved into a triumphant design business rooted in purpose, style, and community.

From Garage Beginnings to a Beloved Design Studio

They combine their business savvy with a strong creative eye for reimagining homes and commercial spaces. ROAM Design Co. started in a garage refinishing furniture to create custom pieces. They shared their first project, an accent wall, on social media. One post led to another, and soon, their creative outlet became a thriving full-time venture. Word of mouth quickly fueled demand.

Their journey from garage to “She Shed,” to the local Opera House, and finally to their current shared studio space, mirrors the evolution of their brand: constantly expanding and adapting to meet the needs of their growing customer base.

Just one year into their journey, Brandi and Brittany were recognized by VoyageSTL as a Daily Inspiration Story — a reflection of their creativity, hustle, and heartfelt mission.

More Than Just Design

ROAM Design specializes in remodels and new builds, offering everything from 3D renderings to design boards and customizations. Whether it’s a full renovation or helping a client select the right flooring, their services are always rooted in function and visual clarity.

Their signature offering includes highly detailed 3D visuals that allow clients to experience their space before a single nail is hammered.

They also offer blueprint reviews and material selections for new builds ensuring no details are missed in the process.

For those needing instant help or a quick design session, their popular Designer for a Day service brings Brandi and Brittany onsite to make design on the spot decisions, from paint colors to fixtures and décor.

“We are not just personal shoppers or decorators,” the duo explains. “Every design is customized, refined for the client, with touches of mid-century modern, organic flow, and individual style.”

Defining: Refined, Organic + Modern

The name ROAM is more than just a clever acronym. It stands for Refined Organic and Modern, a perfect description of their signature aesthetic: clean lines, natural elements, and intentional design that reflects the client’s current life and future aspirations.

Rooted in O’Fallon

Choosing O’Fallon as their home base was a natural decision. It is where their roots and relationships began. As active members of the O’Fallon Chamber of Commerce, they’ve been embraced by the local business community.  “The support here has been genuine and foundational to our success”.

Brandi and Brittany’s partnership is built on more than shared interests. It’s built on balance. Their ability to challenge, support, and complement one another has become one of ROAM’s greatest strengths. Their collaboration, they say, was fate.

“We believe each client is different, so we focus on the functionality of the space first, then bring in the details for a refined, organic + modern design,” they explain. “Our goal is to create a perfect space that showcases who you are now, and where you plan to be in the future.”
